General System
Redesigned software documentation and videos now available
Program News, Program News videos, and online help files for ERA-IGNITE have been redesigned to better serve you with engaging information that can be easily navigated. Online documentation now displays in a modern HTML format when accessed from the Electronic Documentation Viewer (EDV) application or the Online Support website. Program News videos have been redesigned to display using a new color theme and dynamic screen elements.
Additional options for accessing support materials
Using the new Support tab in Smart Center, you can review Reynolds and Reynolds support phone numbers and submit eTickets. In addition, you can access support directly from the ERA-IGNITE home page using links in the new Smart Center section. Check out the 33.00 Program News for more details.
New delivery statuses for outbound SMS text messages*
For each outbound text message, the delivery status, including an icon, now displays beneath the text message on the SMS Text Messaging window in ERA-IGNITE and the Conversation Detail screen in the ReyText app. This will let you know if the text message has been delivered, failed to send, or is in the process of sending.
Server number now displays on the ERA Mailbox window
The ERA-IGNITE server number now displays on the title bar of the ERA Mailbox window for employees who manage mailboxes for multiple servers to easily identify the location associated with the emails.
Save multiple credit card numbers for customers*
You can now use new options on the ReyPAY® window in the Accounting, F&I, Parts, and Service applications to save up to ten credit card numbers for a customer for ReyPAY transactions.
Security Maintenance
Maintain Name ID numbers linked to User IDs directly in the SEC application
Previously, User IDs were linked to employee records in the Names or Payroll application. Now, you can use the Name ID Link Maintenance window to link a User ID to a Name ID number associated with different stores. To access the Name ID Link Maintenance window, simply click the new LINKED WITH NAMES ID on the Basic Profile Information screen.
Review full email addresses for dlrSecured on the Security History report*
When the email address for dlrSecured Identity Management is updated for an employee, the full email address now displays in the New/Details column on the Security History report for the action. Previously, these email addresses were partially hidden on the report.

Retail Management Intelligence
Monitor Advanced Service statistics using new Dashboard module*
Using this module, upsell statistics for advisors and technicians can be reviewed for closed repair orders. Metrics include the dollar amount for services recommended and sold and the percentage of completed recommended service items. In addition, you can drill down and compare these statistics between individual advisors or technicians. For more information, check out the 33.00 Program News.
Enhanced version of the Sales DOC 1 report now available
With this new version, you can schedule the Sales DOC 1 report to process and print automatically. In addition, if the Integrated Document Management (IDM) application is licensed, the report can be saved and archived to the IDM application. To access the new version of the Sales DOC 1 report, select RMI application → Reports → F&I/Desking Reports → (Beta) Sales DOC 1.
Use the Get Schedule Amount function to set up user-defined fields in any Data Set
The Get Schedule Amount function is used to display a balance for one or more schedules, control numbers, and account numbers, such as the balance for contract-in-transit amounts or floorplan amounts. Previously, this function could only be used to set up user-defined fields in Data Sets for accounting.

Schedule the Call Activity report to process and print automatically
To schedule the report, simply enter report criteria as normal and then press the F4 key. The Job Scheduler Maintenance window displays, where you can define the frequency and print settings, as normal. Press the F12 key to save the changes and close the window. Once processed, the results from the scheduled reports can be viewed by selecting Tools → View Completed Reports.
Monitor parked call activity using your RITS phone
Employees can now determine whether a call is parked in a parking lot using the indicator lights on their RITS phones. In the RITS Administration Console, system administrators can assign parking lots to individual soft keys on phones using the Side Cars section on the Station Options screen. Once defined, employees can determine whether parked calls exist using their RITS phones without accessing the RITS Desktop Application (RDA). A visible change to the parking lot soft key, typically a red color change, indicates the presence of a parked call.
MyRITS App Icon Update
The MyRITS app icon for mobile devices has been updated to display the new Reynolds and Reynolds corporate logo. This new icon displays only for iOS version 2.88 or Android version 2.30 of the MyRITS app.

Accounting
Upload accounting data for warranty credits*
You can now upload accounting data files for warranty credits. Using the new Warranty Credits tab on the Define Upload Accounting screen, you can create a file format specifically for warranty credits. Uploaded warranty transactions can then be posted individually or as a group. See the 33.00 Program News for more information.
Define the ReyPAY branch number for printing F&I cash receipts*
You can now define the ReyPAY branch number to use when printing cash receipts for ReyPAY payments in the F&I application. To assign a ReyPAY branch number for printed cash receipts, simply select the branch number in the new ReyPAY Branch field on the F&I Cash Receipts Setup tab on the Cash Receipts Setup screen in the Accounting Specifications application.
Include additional Name ID numbers in uploaded accounting data*
You can now include an additional Name ID number for transactions in Upload Accounting Data. An additional Name ID number can be used to provide additional detail for accounting adjustments, general purchases, and cash transactions.
Reverse transmitted electronic payments*
Electronic payments that have been transmitted to FIS for distribution to vendors can now be reversed in the Cash Disbursement Journal within the Accounting application. This enhancement is particularly useful if a check was not received by a vendor and a payment must be reissued.
Export data from the Sales Performance Adjustments window
You can now export data from the Sales Performance Adjustments window to a .csv, .pdf, .tsv, or .xlsx file. To export information from the Commission Distribution section or the Units and Gross% section on the window, right-click a column heading and hover the mouse cursor over the Export option. The Export submenu displays, where you can select whether to export all rows or only the selected rows, as normal.
Vehicle Purchases screen updates
You can now enter an amount to post of up to $9,999,999.99 for new vehicles in the Invoice, Holdback, PDI Allowance, and Inventory fields on the Vehicle Purchases screen. In addition, you can enter an amount to post of up to $9,999,999.99 for used vehicles in the Inventory field on this screen.
Payroll
Enter multiple matching deduction codes for company-paid benefits
You can now enter up to ten matching deduction codes for a company-paid benefit in employee records. With this enhancement, multiple matching deduction codes can be used to automatically calculate the employer match amount for a company-paid benefit. Check out Program News 33.00 for additional instructions.
Print garnishment checks during the payroll process
Using new options on the Ded/Inc/Ben tab on the Employee Maintenance screen, you can enter payee information and set up deduction codes to automatically process and print garnishment checks for employees. To see steps for setting this up, see the 33.00 Program News.
Enter the SOC code for employees living in Alaska, Indiana, and Louisiana
The SOC field is now available on the Employee tab on the Employee Maintenance screen for you to enter the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code. This enhancement is available for employees who are set up for state tax withholding and live in Alaska, Indiana, or Louisiana.
New Colorado Paid Family Leave report available
To support changes to reporting requirements for the state of Colorado, the new Colorado Paid Family Leave report is available in the Payroll application.
Names
Require cell phone number in customer Name File records
To require customers’ cell phones to be entered when creating or updating Name File records, simply select the new Mandatory Consumer Cell Phone check box on the Name Information Specification screen
Time Clock
Request and approve vacation time using the Mobile Time Clock app*
Employees can now add, modify, and track the status of vacation requests using the Mobile Time Clock app. Once time off has been requested by an employee, the employee’s supervisor can approve, deny, and review the vacation request using the new Vacation Requests screen. Enter hours for pay codes on employee time cards*
Supervisors can now enter hours for pay codes, such as vacation and sick time pay codes, when updating time cards for employees in the Mobile Time Clock app. The new Hours field displays on several windows used to add and edit employee time cards, allowing you to enter the number of hours paid to an employee without entering individual punch times for starting and stopping work.
Search for employee time cards by supervisor group*
Supervisors can now search for employee time cards by supervisor group using the Pay Period Summary screen in the Mobile Time Clock app. To display time cards for a specific supervisor group, enter search criteria as normal, and then select the supervisor group in the new Supervisor Group field.
Allow time punches from multiple geofence locations or any location*
Managers can now set up employees who work at more than one dealership location to create time punches using the Mobile Time Clock app from multiple geofence locations. You can also now set up employees who work remotely to create time punches without an assigned geofence location.
Review pending vacation requests using the Vacation Request Approval screen calendar
Using the calendar on the Vacation Request Approval screen, you can now review all pending vacation requests for a month. If one or more pending vacation requests exist for a date, the calendar displays a new “Pending – X” task for the date, where “X” is the number of pending vacation requests.

F&I and Desking
Define required fields for deals using additional options
You can now define which fields are required on deals, the deal types for these required fields, and the deal actions for which the fields are required. Required fields in a deal display with a yellow background, and you can use the new Navigator Mode feature to quickly access and update the required fields specifically. For more information, check out Program News 33.00.
Search by form types on the Library on Demand window
You can use new check boxes on the Forms tab on the Library on Demand window to search for forms by form type, such as impact forms, laser forms, or eSign forms. In addition, various enhancements are available to help you process forms more efficiently. To learn more, see the 33.00 Program News.
Print wet-ink forms separately from the form package sent to the OneSpan portal*
Finance managers can now print eSign forms that require wet-ink signatures without including the forms in the forms package sent to the OneSpan portal. When an eSign form that requires a wet-ink signature is prepared for eSign on the F&I Forms window, a message window now displays, indicating that the form cannot be prepared for eSign but can be sent directly to the deal jacket. To define a form to require wet-ink signatures, contact the Reynolds and Reynolds Technical Assistance Center at 800-767-0080.
Automatically add credit reports to the Deal Jacket screen*
Using new options in the Finance and Insurance Specifications application, you can define whether credit reports are added to the Deal Jacket screen when credit reports are attached to deals, reducing the need to manually scan and save the documents. Check out the 33.00 Program News for more details.
Define the co-buyer on a deal as a guarantor using a new option on the Customer window
To define the co-buyer as a guarantor, enter company information in the Buyer section, enter co-buyer information in the Co-Buyer section, and then select the new Guarantor check box in the Co-Buyer section. Define the ReyPAY branch number to use when printing cash receipts
You can now define the ReyPAY branch number to use when printing cash receipts for ReyPAY payments in the F&I application. For more information, refer to the 33.00 Program News.
Vehicle Management
Identify vehicle title status using a new button
Using the new Title Status button on screens throughout a used vehicle record, you can now easily determine the status of the vehicle title. Simply hover the mouse cursor over the Title Status button to display a tooltip indicating the status of the vehicle title. Click the Title Status button to display the Title and Ownership screen, where information about the vehicle title can be reviewed.
Search vehicles by title status
The Title Status field can now be added to the Advanced Search Criteria section on the Vehicle Inquiry screen using the Vehicle Inquiry – Advanced Search Criteria screen in the Vehicle Management System (VMS) Specifications application. To search for a vehicle by title status, simply enter the title status code in the Title Status field and press the F12 key.
Review additional vehicle information on the Vehicle Title Status report
You can now review the dates that a vehicle and the vehicle title were received using new columns on the Vehicle Title Status report. In addition, columns on the Vehicle Title Status report can now be grouped. For example, right-click the Vehicle Status column heading and select the Group Column option to group the vehicles by vehicle status.
Review changes to dealer-defined fields on the Vehicle History screen
A new UDF tab is available on the Vehicle History screen for you to review updates to dealer-defined fields for a vehicle record. Using this tab, you can determine which dealer-defined fields were updated, what information was updated, and the employee who updated the fields.
The docuPAD® System
Select deal categories for the Presentation Effectiveness report
Employees can now limit the deals included on the Presentation Effectiveness report by deal category. To select the deal categories for the report, simply press the F2 key in the new Deal Category field. The Deal Category window displays, where the categories to include on the report can be selected.
Display individual fees on the docuPAD Workstation
The total fee amount displayed for retail deals in the DMV/Fees field on the docuPAD Workstation can now be displayed as itemized fee amounts. To activate this feature, contact the Reynolds and Reynolds Technical Assistance Center at 800-767-0080.
Signature date automatically entered for certain embedded eContracting forms*
When an electronic signature is applied on the Form Presentation screen on the docuPAD Workstation, the current date is automatically entered in the corresponding field on the form. This enhancement is only available for embedded eContracting forms for BMW and Alliance (RouteOne® Embedded eContracting).

Service
Limit appointment availability by labor type using Reservation Manager*
With this enhancement, you can define the hourly, range, and minute limits for the labor type used for maintenance operations using the Reservation Manager Limits screen. To see more details on setting up limits for individual labor types, check out the 33.00 Program News.
Request the Closed ROs Follow-Up report directly in ERA-IGNITE
This report can be used by managers to review information about closed repair orders, such as the repair order date, the customer’s phone number, and the date of the next appointment for the vehicle. To access this report, select Service application → Reports → Closed ROs Follow-Up 3679.
Review customer rides booked with Draiver using new Outside Transportation report
With this report, you can review details for the rides scheduled using the Rideshare window, such as the customer and repair order associated with the ride. In addition, you can review the cost of the ride, whether an override for the ride was performed, and the employee who performed the override.
Work is no longer automatically assigned when automatic dispatching is disabled
At dealerships where the Dispatching application is used and automatic dispatching for technicians is disabled, work is no longer automatically assigned when a technician puts a job on hold on the Dispatching screen.
Service Portal 2.0
Differentiate between manufacturer- and dealer-defined services on the Service Portal 2.0 website
Using new fields on the Service Portal Services screen in the Service Specifications application, you can customize the messages that display on the Service Portal 2.0 website for maintenance menu items defined by the manufacturer and menu items defined by dealership personnel to help differentiate the menu item types.
Display price disclaimer for vehicles without an entered VIN
When a customer is adding services on the Service Portal website and a vehicle identification number (VIN) has not been entered, a message now displays to alert the customer that the listed Service Price Guide (SPG) operation code prices are estimates based on the selected vehicle details and that the final prices may differ.
Automatically Display the Updated Mileage Screen on Service Portal 2.0 Website
The Updated Mileage screen now automatically displays on the Service Portal 2.0 website after a vehicle is selected on the Existing Vehicle Select screen, eliminating the need to click the Proceed button to access the Updated Mileage screen.
Service Portal 2.0 Preview Mode Message
At dealerships where Service Portal 2.0 is licensed, a message window now displays when you access the Service Portal website in preview mode, indicating that appointments cannot be made or changed.
Parts
Create internal documents with stock numbers
You can now use the Add Record screen and the Counter Sales screen to create internal documents using stock numbers directly in ERA-IGNITE. Using the new F3 = Stock # function key, the Stock # field can be accessed and used to add a stock number to the invoice, price quote, or credit memo.
Review actions performed on parts invoices
You can now review detailed information about actions performed on parts invoices on the Invoice Comments screen, such as when invoices were voided or when picking tickets were printed.
Review multiple makes assigned to parts
You can use the new Other Makes field on the Parts Inquiry window and the Counter Sales screen to review whether a part is assigned to multiple makes. Up to three make codes can display in this field for each part. To add the Other Makes field to the Parts Inquiry window and the Counter Sales screen, select the new Other Makes option on the Additional Information Setup screen.
Indicate whether parts are non-returnable on invoices
Managers can now define messages to include on parts invoices regarding whether a specific part can be returned. These messages are included on invoices for a part based on the make code and return code for the part and can be defined using the new Print Returnable Literals screen in the Parts Specifications application.
Save the Counter Pad and Order Listing reports using the COLD process*
To COLD the Counter Pad report or the Order Listing report, enter criteria on the Counter Pad window or the Order Listing window, as normal, and press the F12 key. The Counter Pad window or the Print Order Listing window displays based on the report being requested. Using these windows, you can save the report in the Integrated Document Management (IDM) application using the current date or a manually defined date as the document date.
Copy and paste information from display-only columns
You can now copy and paste information from display-only columns on the following windows and screens:
- Counter Sales screen
- Counter Sales – Pending Service Parts screen
- Parts Inquiry window
- Parts Outside Purchases window
